The organizers at Ozarks Indie Book Fest want to make this conference the best conference possible and understand that questions may pop up from time to time. So we have organized this list of Frequently Asked Questions that could possibly get you the answer that you are looking for.

Panels:
All Panels were selected Summer of 2016. We have only 4 Panels taking place. They are:

  • Friday 11am-12pm
    Dystopian – How dystopian is ever evolving and why today’s culture is so demanding of it
  • Friday 2:30pm-3:30pm
    Newsletter vs St Teams – How to not spam, target audience & Key point noticeable
  • Saturday 11am-12pm
    Kid Connections – Importance of Reading/Writing/Creativity In the classroom and beyond
  • Saturday 2:30pm-3:30pm
    Indie Publishing VS Small Press – Which is better to launch a career? What are the benefits of self publishing vs small press?

Speakers
We will have 3 key note speakers.

  • Christina Benjamin will be kicking us off Thursday night at 6pm.
  • BJ Sheldon will be starting us off Friday morning before the exhibitor hall opens at 8:30am.
  • Jo Michaels will be our last key note on Saturday morning this year before the exhibitor hall opens at 8:30am as well.
  • We will close out Sunday morning with a closing speech on how 2019 will be and how 2017 turned out!

  1. Are refunds available? Yes, you have from 90 days after purchase to request a refund until March 1, 2017. After that no refunds will be available.

  • We are having Ozarks Indie Book Fest at the University Plaza and JQH Convention Center. More information can be found here.

  • If you would like to attend Ozarks 2017 please purchase your table or ticket here. Time is running out!
  • What is the difference in the $35 ticket and the $10 Day pass? $35 – 2 day pass comes with a bag full of swag, a tshirt, access to the panels, signing, awards ceremony, and keynotes. $10 Day Pass only gets you access to the author signing
  • If you would like to be a sponsor for Ozarks Indie Book Fest please email us at Ozarksbookfest@gmail.com and we will get you information.
  • If you need a hotel room please book at University Plaza in Springfield, Missouri. The booking code is OZARKS. More information can be found here.
  • All the proceeds will be going to 2 charities. -Loving Paws Rescue and Companions For Heroes.
  • If you are an attending author and your name is not highlighted on the website then we do not have an author website for you.
